Become a key player in our Purchasing organization! As a Strategic Commodity Buyer, you will define and coordinate strategies that optimize the quality and cost of our products.
In this role, you will represent one of the commodities within Cleantech, structured in a matrix organization. RAVO, a vital part of the Cleantech organization, plays a significant role in this framework. Your responsibilities will include developing and implementing strategies that enhance the efficiency and sustainability of our procurement processes for the Hydraulics Commodity.
You will be a part of RAVO's local purchasing team and report both to the Supply Chain Manager of RAVO and functionally to your Commodity Manager. Your expertise and strategic insight are critical for the success of our organization.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the Commodity Team.
- Define, deploy, and monitor the commodity strategy.
- Manage the supplier portfolio and engage with critical suppliers.
- Participate in meetings and global negotiations with key suppliers.
- Encourage and co-manage technical savings with engineering.
- Take part in make-or-buy decisions.
