Your Role at Box
The Strategic Sourcing & Procurement team is integral to our mission of redefining collaboration. We are searching for a Strategic Sourcing Manager to take charge of significant indirect categories, particularly within SaaS and technology sectors that support IT, Marketing, GTM, and HR functions.
In this capacity, you will manage negotiations, facilitate competitive sourcing events, and collaborate closely with Legal, Security, and business leaders to establish exemplary contracts that mitigate risk and optimize total cost of ownership. If you excel at blending data analysis, deal-making, and stakeholder collaboration, this role offers you a chance to create substantial impacts at scale.
Your Responsibilities
- Lead vendor management and contract negotiations for SaaS and tech categories, ensuring advantageous commercial terms, service level agreements, and exit strategies.
- Oversee comprehensive RFX processes, supplier evaluations, and competitive bidding; advocate for supplier choices based on data-driven insights.
- Develop cost models and present findings that promote savings, efficiency, and performance-based decisions.
- Collaborate with Legal, Compliance, and Security teams to draft, review, and negotiate NDAs, MSAs, SOWs, and software licensing agreements.
