We are on the lookout for a Strategic Technical Account Manager who is eager to make a significant impact, forge authentic connections with senior stakeholders, and adeptly align infrastructure choices with business strategies.
As a Strategic Technical Account Manager (TAM) at DigitalOcean, you will be part of an innovative team committed to transforming cloud computing and AI.
Your Responsibilities:
Strategic Relationship Management
- Manage the technical relationship with DigitalOcean’s most valuable clients, including Fortune 500 companies and global tech leaders.
- Act as a trusted technical advisor and primary executive contact, fostering deep, enduring relationships with VP- and SVP-level stakeholders.
- Facilitate regular technical and strategic alignment meetings (QBRs, EBRs), proactively guiding the customer’s roadmap to enhance the value derived from DigitalOcean’s infrastructure.
- Serve as a thought partner, challenging clients to modernize, optimize, and scale their AI/ML and GPU workloads using state-of-the-art cloud architectural patterns.
Executive Presence & Influence
- Engage confidently and authoritatively with C-level and VP-level contacts.
- Deliver impactful, boardroom-ready presentations covering architecture decisions, cost-performance trade-offs, and innovation prospects.
- Navigate complex organizational structures to ensure DigitalOcean maintains executive alignment and account oversight at every level.
Technical Consultation & Innovation Support
- Provide expert insights on designing and scaling AI/ML, containerized, and GPU-intensive workloads on DigitalOcean’s platform.
- Assist clients with architectural planning, workload migration, performance optimization, and incident management.
- Work closely with engineering and product teams to resolve customer obstacles and influence the product roadmap based on enterprise requirements.
