WHO YOU ARE:
We are looking for a Structures Design Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a solid understanding of structural design principles and a strong enthusiasm for tackling complex aerospace challenges. You should be eager to apply your engineering education and initial career experience to tangible aircraft hardware while learning from seasoned engineers across various disciplines. Your contributions will be crucial in designing, analyzing, and testing advanced aerospace structures that enhance the performance and safety of our vehicles.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Participate in the design and analysis of composite and metallic structures for high-performance aircraft.
- Assist in the structural layout and configuration development under the guidance of senior engineers.
- Engage in CAD modeling, technical drawings, and basic structural analysis (including hand calculations and FEA).
- Support trade studies that balance performance, weight, cost, and manufacturability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (aero, propulsion, manufacturing, testing) to define and support structural requirements.
- Take part in design reviews, manufacturing support, and testing activities.
- Maintain clear documentation of work and ensure configuration control of designs and models.
- Learn from senior engineers and progressively grow your technical skills.
