We are excited to announce an opening for a Studio Leader for K-12 Educational Design. This position supports a hybrid working model, allowing flexibility between in-office and remote work. This role may be based in Minneapolis or nearby locations.

About Our K-12 Education Team:

Our multidisciplinary team, consisting of educators, researchers, architects, engineers, and designers, utilizes evidence-based design to assist schools in evolving their operations and enhancing learning environments. Aware of the rapid changes in technology and society, our K-12 Education Studio collaborates with schools nationwide to navigate these shifts, aiming to improve community engagement, and educational experiences.

Position Overview:

As the Studio Leader / Client Leader, you will drive business development efforts, manage client relationships, and lead contract negotiations. Your role involves educating clients about our design processes while coordinating with project managers to ensure project success. You will maintain ongoing communication with clients throughout projects, fostering a collaborative and innovative atmosphere, and aligning with both client and DLR Group objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee project execution, ensuring alignment with budget, schedule, and scope while meeting client expectations.
  • Work in partnership with Project Managers on staffing, roles, and performance assessments for project team members.
  • Monitor project milestones and deliverables, ensuring compliance with quality standards and generate regular status reports.
  • Facilitate and document meetings with staff and clients, coordinating project personnel, vendors, and consultants.
  • Engage in client contract discussions and negotiations.
