About the Role
We invite you to join our team as a Supplier Industrialization Engineer. In this pivotal role, you will focus on optimizing suppliers' manufacturing processes to produce high-quality, cost-effective products. You will collaborate closely with suppliers and internal teams to drive product and process enhancements, address supply chain challenges, and facilitate the successful integration of new products into mass production.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the ramp-up of supplier production lines from initial prototyping to full-scale manufacturing, ensuring readiness in equipment, staffing, and processes.
Partner with suppliers to evaluate, design, and enhance manufacturing processes to meet production and quality standards, ensuring scalability without quality compromise.
Lead the supplier qualification process through thorough auditing of manufacturing facilities, production processes, and quality standards. Manage the execution of the Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) with suppliers to ensure successful product launches.
Address supplier quality issues by conducting identification and root cause analysis, followed by implementation and verification of corrective and preventative actions.
Manage engineering changes related to suppliers, including material, component, and process modifications, ensuring all changes align with quality standards throughout the supply chain.
