Role Overview
As our Technical and Specialized Recruiter, you will play a crucial role in identifying and attracting the exceptional talent that ai& requires to fulfill its mission. This position is not about high-volume recruiting; rather, it focuses on precision, sourcing the world's top researchers, engineers, and technical experts and persuading them that their contributions will have the greatest impact at ai&.
We are expanding in some of the most competitive talent markets globally, including frontier AI research, kernel engineering, inference optimization, and data center infrastructure. The individuals we seek are often not actively looking for new opportunities; your challenge will be to discover them, understand their motivations, and cultivate relationships that encourage them to join us. Think of this role as more akin to talent intelligence and specialized headhunting within deep technical fields.
You will collaborate closely with hiring managers to gain a precise understanding of the technical requirements for each role, develop sourcing strategies that extend beyond conventional channels, and manage the candidate experience from initial outreach through to job offer.
Responsibilities
Specialized Technical Sourcing: Design and implement comprehensive sourcing strategies for elusive technical and research talent. Move beyond job boards, identify candidates through research publications, participation in conferences, contributions to open source projects, patent filings, and by nurturing direct networks.
Candidate Relationship Building: Foster and maintain relationships with potential candidates, guiding them through the recruitment process and ensuring a positive candidate experience.
