About the Opportunity
This is not your typical sales position; it's an exciting opportunity to launch and manage a hyperlocal magazine in your community, supported by an established national company. You'll create a unique venture by developing your market, nurturing client relationships, and cultivating a sustainable revenue stream.
If you're a relationship-oriented salesperson eager to invest in building a business, this role seamlessly integrates sales, entrepreneurship, and community leadership into a rewarding opportunity.
Position Summary
We are looking for a Territory Sales Manager (referred to as Area Directors at N2) to initiate, grow, and oversee a BeLocal publication in your area. If selected, you will act as a local publisher, driving revenue, forging partnerships with local business owners, and crafting a magazine that embodies the spirit of your community.
Your initial focus will be on establishing your territory and building your client base. From that foundation, you will expand a business that you own.
This hybrid position requires a combination of in-person community engagement and work conducted from your home office.
Who You Are
- Entrepreneurial and self-motivated: you thrive on building, not just maintaining.
- A natural relationship builder with consultative sales instincts.
- Passionate about helping local businesses thrive and prosper.
- Confident in leveraging N2's proven system to make it your own.
What You'll Do
- Conduct consultative meetings with local business owners to establish long-term advertising partnerships.
- Foster meaningful community relationships using a successful engagement model.
- Connect local businesses with their target customers through your publication.
- Engage with homeowners to gather authentic, community-driven content.
- Oversee your territory, sales pipeline, and publication operations.
- Collaborate with N2's national team for design, production, training, and ongoing support.
- Steer the growth of your publication, becoming the face of Stroll in your market.
