Your Role:
In the capacity of a GDS Specialist within Exoticca’s Flight Operations team, you will be instrumental in supporting our travel operations daily. You will:
- Assist with Travel Operations tasks, including flight changes, cancellation requests, and refund processing.
- Address and escalate GDS issues, ensuring prompt resolution of cases.
- Manage negotiated rates and process advanced refunds through GDS.
- Collaborate directly with our land suppliers for pre- and post-booking requests.
What We Are Looking For:
- Fluent English communication skills (additional languages such as French or Spanish are a plus).
- Extensive knowledge of Amadeus Flights and GDS.
- Proven experience negotiating fares and commissions via GDS.
- Effective time management and multitasking abilities.
- High adaptability and flexibility with your schedule, as this role involves rotating shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of customer support experience in the travel industry, ideally with a focus on flights.
- A proven track record of thriving in fast-paced environments.
- A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and a willingness to learn quickly.
