The Role
As we modernize our platform, we are seeking a talented UI/Front-End Developer to spearhead the development and implementation of our design system. This pivotal role involves bridging the gap between design concepts and technical execution, working closely with our UI/UX designer.
We are looking for a hybrid candidate who excels in design (Figma, UI), has mastery in CSS, and is proficient in integrating components using React.
Key Responsibilities
Design System Implementation
- Develop and maintain a React component library utilizing Storybook, aligned with our Figma designs.
- Create reusable components following atomic design principles.
- Define design tokens, usage patterns, and accompanying documentation.
Integration & CSS
- Produce pixel-perfect, responsive, and cross-browser compatible interfaces for both web and React Native mobile applications.
- Write clean, maintainable CSS while adhering to existing codebase constraints.
Legacy Code Modernization
- Gradually refactor HTML/CSS/jQuery/JavaScript code to meet modern standards.
- Ensure backward compatibility while enhancing code quality and consistency.
Collaboration & Tools
- Collaborate with our designer to assess the technical feasibility of designs.
- Leverage AI tools (e.g., Copilot, Cursor) to streamline repetitive tasks.
