About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated Underwriting Manager to join our team. This pivotal role involves steering our risk management processes by overseeing the complete underwriting workflow, which includes merchant assessments, onboarding evaluations, and consistent portfolio monitoring. The ideal candidate will blend strategic insight with practical analytical skills, proficiently analyzing transaction data to pinpoint suspicious activities and ensuring compliance with card scheme regulations and internal risk policies.
This role requires ownership of underwriting processes and collaboration across various departments including Risk, Compliance, Operations, and Sales, to continuously enhance underwriting frameworks, improve documentation, and uphold our data-driven approach to risk management. The successful candidate will confidently manage underwriting practices while fostering open communication and alignment with other teams to mitigate financial risks and protect the business.
