Key Responsibilities:

The Vice President of Infrastructure Projects will act as a strategic leader, managing all operational facets of the construction organization. This role will involve setting ambitious business objectives, overseeing project performance, and ensuring that company strategies are effectively translated into field execution. The VP will be instrumental in enhancing profitability, optimizing operational efficiency, and fostering robust relationships with clients and vendors.

Leading a team of department heads, project managers, estimators, and field supervisors, the VP will guarantee that high-quality construction projects are completed on schedule and within budget. This position also encompasses critical areas such as risk management, contract negotiation, hiring, and long-term strategic planning. The VP will oversee large-scale public and private infrastructure projects, including roadworks, bridges, utilities, and transportation initiatives, from bid to completion.

Essential Duties:

  • Establish and execute strategic objectives across construction operations.
  • Direct project planning, budgeting, resource allocation, and performance management.
  • Oversee profit and loss (P&L) management across various divisions or project portfolios.
  • Set operational benchmarks and ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Supervise infrastructure projects encompassing buildings, highways, water systems, and mass transit.
  • Manage proposal development, cost estimation, and government bidding processes.
  • Guide contract negotiations and subcontractor management.
  • Assess contracts, subcontractor agreements, and vendor collaborations.
  • Build and sustain relationships with clients, partners, and key stakeholders.
  • Lead project delivery teams, ensuring compliance with governmental and construction standards.
  • Monitor capital improvement plans and risk management strategies.
