At Paragon Social Care, we are dedicated to providing exceptional support to vulnerable and at-risk children and young people under council care, particularly during their transition between long-term placements. Our comprehensive, round-the-clock support services are customized to meet the individual needs of each young person, ensuring a staffing ratio that ranges from 1:1 to 6:1 based on their specific circumstances.

As a Waking Night Crisis Support Worker, you will play a vital role in safeguarding these young individuals while also connecting with them on an emotional level to create a nurturing environment. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Ensuring the safety and well-being of the young person
  • Establishing trust and engaging in meaningful discussions
  • Providing assistance with personal care tasks
  • Planning and participating in recreational activities
  • Transporting the young person to appointments, educational settings, and other necessary engagements
  • Preparing nutritious meals and supporting dietary needs
  • Maintaining cleanliness and organization in their living space
  • Attending staff meetings and ongoing training sessions

We are looking for enthusiastic individuals who may have prior experience with challenging youth, as well as those eager to embark on this fulfilling career path. Paragon Social Care offers all necessary training at no cost.

You will need to have:

  • Flexibility in your work schedule
  • A valid driving license and access to your own vehicle, with a readiness to obtain Motor Vehicle Business Insurance
  • A clear DBS check
  • Full Right to Work status in the UK
