Requirements:Education:An Associate's degree from an accredited institution is required; a Bachelor's degree is preferred. Experience:A minimum of four years of experience in the welding field or a related area is required. American Welding Society (AWS) certification is highly desirable. A thorough understanding of diverse welding techniques and industry standards is essential. Skills:Exceptional communication and teaching abilities. Capability to assess and support learners from diverse backgrounds. A commitment to creating a positive and inclusive learning atmosphere.

As a Welding Faculty member, your responsibilities will include:

  • Instructing students in a variety of welding techniques such as MIG, TIG, Stick, and more.
  • Developing and refining course curricula to align with the latest industry standards.
  • Assessing student competencies through practical evaluations and theoretical assessments.
  • Maintaining a safe and productive learning environment by supervising lab activities and equipment usage.
  • Engaging in ongoing professional development to stay abreast of advancements in welding technologies and teaching methodologies.
  • Collaborating with industry partners to create internship and job placement opportunities for students.
