Role Overview
Coinbase, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Controller for Global GL Operations. This remote role is open to candidates based in Canada. The position sits within the Global GL Operations Accounting team and plays a key part in supporting the company’s growth and operational excellence.

What You Will Do
- Manage month-end and quarter-end close activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analysis for global accounting functions (such as Operating Expenses, Capitalized Software, and Operating Cash).
- Coordinate with teams across Finance, including FP&A, Tax, Treasury, and Source-To-Pay, to ensure accurate accounting and financial reporting.
- Assist in preparing and reviewing financial statements for global consolidated audits and statutory financial statements for international subsidiaries.
- Supervise and support junior accounting staff, fostering their professional growth and ensuring quality deliverables.
