In this pivotal role, you will oversee the complete D2C P&L for the brand's Shopify channel, focusing on revenue generation and ensuring profitability. You will be directly responsible for growth metrics, contribution margins, and operational efficiencies while leading cross-functional teams in performance marketing, pricing strategies, and D2C operations.
Key Responsibilities:
1. P&L Ownership:
Manage revenue, gross margins, contribution margins, and CAC:LTV targets. Drive consistent month-over-month growth through precise forecasting and variance analysis. Identify and rectify margin leaks in marketing, logistics, and discounting processes.
2. Performance Marketing Leadership:
Oversee Meta and Google campaigns via internal teams and external agencies. Set CAC goals, plan scaling strategies, and manage budget allocations. Enhance creative testing and optimize conversion funnels while monitoring vital metrics like ROAS, MER, and blended CAC.
3. Pricing & Offer Strategy:
Own pricing frameworks, including MRP, discounts, bundles, and promotional offers. Optimize average order value (AOV), conversion rate (CVR), and contribution margins, focusing on sustainable growth rather than just top-line increases. Conduct structured pricing and promotional experiments.
4. Shopify & Funnel Optimization:
Monitor website performance metrics like CVR, AOV, bounce rates, and checkout abandonment. Collaborate with operations and technology teams to enhance user experience, site speed, landing pages, and conversion rate optimization experiments. Develop and refine conversion funnels from paid campaigns through landing pages to checkout.
5. Forecasting & Inventory Planning:
Align demand forecasting with marketing initiatives and coordinate with the supply chain to maintain optimal inventory turnover. Prevent stockouts and overstock situations while supporting growth objectives.
6. Team & Vendor Management:
Lead teams responsible for D2C operations, performance marketing, and customer retention. Manage agency relationships to ensure high-quality deliverables and accountability. Establish reporting systems and maintain weekly performance reviews.
