At 42dot, we are in search of a talented Audio DSP Engineer dedicated to advancing audio signal processing and pre-processing technologies specifically tailored for automotive environments. You will enhance voice recognition and sound quality across various vehicle settings while delivering optimized solutions for OEM vehicles through proprietary tuning of preprocessing technologies such as AEC, AGC, and NR. Your contributions will bolster our competitiveness in Audio Intelligence and facilitate the successful implementation of Connect and Ambient AI systems.
Key Responsibilities
Design and optimize core audio signal processing algorithms, including AGC, AEC, and NR.
Develop signal processing solutions tailored to specific vehicle conditions.
Innovate voice recognition and signal separation technologies based on multi-microphone data to enhance recognition accuracy.
Create scalable algorithms for diverse seating arrangements and environments.
Support tuning and optimization of preprocessing technologies for various OEM vehicles.
Assist in production projects, manage timelines, resolve technical requirements, and ensure adherence to schedules.
Conduct signal quality testing and debugging to stabilize the system.
Decrease dependence on outsourced solutions by internalizing technologies.
Provide continuous maintenance and enhancement of technologies post-production.
Qualifications
Experience in designing audio signal processing and preprocessing algorithms (AGC, AEC, NR).
Understanding or experience in voice recognition and signal separation.
Proficiency in signal processing and algorithm implementation languages such as MATLAB, Python, or C/C++.
Experience in DSP development and debugging skills.
Experience in project management and requirement analysis in production settings.
Ability to collaborate within teams and communicate effectively with external partners.
Experience in developing automotive audio systems or related domains.
Experience in researching or applying acoustic technologies in multi-microphone environments.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in voice signal processing leveraging machine learning or deep learning.
Experience in developing and tuning voice recognition systems (e.g., wake-up word).
Experience in researching and implementing acoustic scenarios utilizing external microphones.
Collaboration experience with OEMs or Tier 1 suppliers.
Experience in validating audio systems and quality control during production stages.
Creative problem-solving skills necessary for analyzing and resolving complex technical issues.
A clear decision-making approach and the ability to collaborate effectively with team members.
