BEHF Architects is seeking a full-time BIM Coordinator (Architecture & General Coordination) (m/f/d) to join the team in Vienna, Austria. This position requires 40 hours per week and focuses on managing BIM processes for both architectural and general planner projects.
Role overview
The BIM Coordinator plays a key role in keeping complex projects organized and ensuring the quality of digital models. This work supports effective collaboration between architecture and other disciplines, including TGA and structural engineering. The position covers both operational BIM coordination for general planning and specialist BIM coordination for architectural models.
What you will do
- Coordinate and lead specialist models across architecture, TGA, and structural engineering.
- Conduct model and collision checks, document findings, and prepare clear reports.
- Monitor compliance with the BIM execution plan (BAP).
- Oversee the architectural specialist model, focusing on structure, LOD/LOI, and attribute management.
- Work closely with project management, BIM management, and internal planning teams.
- Participate in BIM coordination meetings and document outcomes.
This role emphasizes solution-focused and quality-driven work, always considering the needs of the overall project.
Requirements
- Experience with BIM-based planning projects.
- Completed degree in Architecture or Civil Engineering.
- Strong understanding of model coordination and BIM processes.
- Very good German skills required; English is an advantage.
