Key Responsibilities
As the Business Development Manager for Australia, you will spearhead our expansion efforts by identifying and closing new business opportunities within the Australian market. Reporting directly to our Regional Sales Director, you will oversee the complete sales cycle, from initial prospecting and outreach to contract negotiations. This role requires a proactive individual who thrives on building a territory and facilitating a feedback loop between the market and our Product Development team.
Impact Areas
- Identify and secure new client opportunities through cold calling, email outreach, and networking within industry groups across Australia.
- Manage the complete sales process, including responding to inbound inquiries, conducting product demonstrations, and preparing tailored proposals.
- Develop and implement a strategic business development plan to achieve sales targets and enhance local processes.
- Act as a liaison between the Australian market and our internal Product teams by sharing valuable client feedback.
- Discover and capitalize on opportunities to upsell within our existing client base.
- Participate in industry conferences and organize regional roadshows to bolster our presence in the APAC region.
- Contribute to defining the ‘Lighthouse way’ by leveraging AI insights and automation within our CRM to enhance forecasting accuracy and daily operational efficiency.
About Our Team
You will be joining our Sales team within the broader Revenue department. We are a global collective of over 150 sales professionals situated in 24 countries. As part of our APAC hiring team, comprising 36 individuals, you will be integral to our mission.
