Your Role
As a Business Intelligence Engineer, you will be instrumental in designing and optimizing the data frameworks that underpin our advanced analytics, AI, and intelligent capabilities. Operating at the crossroads of business intelligence, machine learning, and large language models, you'll be responsible for building semantic models, preparing datasets primed for AI, and generating actionable insights across the organization. By leveraging modern data platforms, automation, and scalable architectures, you will ensure our data is of the highest quality and reliability, driving smarter decision-making and propelling Viva.com’s AI-first strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop semantic models that support Power BI, LLM inputs, and ML/agentic pipelines.
- Exhibit expertise in SQL, KQL, DAX, and complex data analytics.
- Take ownership of and enhance the Silver and Gold data layers within our BI architecture.
- Refine existing Power BI semantic models for optimal performance and usability.
- Prepare AI/LLM-ready datasets for advanced analytics and generative AI applications.
- Execute tasks with efficiency and within stipulated timelines.
- Continuously broaden your technical knowledge and skills.
- Identify, design, and implement enhancements, including automation and optimized data delivery.
