Outstanding organizational skills and the ability to manage time effectively. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Experience in handling Accounts Receivable processes.

Position Overview
We are looking for an exceptionally organized and detail-focused Accountant to become a vital part of our accounting team. The Accountant will play a key role in supporting the daily operations of the accounting department, safeguarding the integrity of financial data, and facilitating month-end and year-end closing processes. Candidates should possess a robust understanding of accounting principles, excellent problem-solving capabilities, and an ability to collaborate effectively across departments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and post journal entries with a focus on accuracy and compliance with company policies.

  • Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts.

  • Assist in the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities.

  • Review and process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.

  • Conduct bank reconciliations and oversee cash flow management.

  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports for management.

  • Support audit processes by preparing schedules and providing necessary documentation.

  • Ensure adherence to GAAP and internal accounting controls.

  • Identify opportunities for process enhancements to drive efficiency.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.

  • A minimum of 2 years of accounting experience; public accounting experience is advantageous.

  • In-depth knowledge of GAAP and general accounting practices.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP).

  • Strong analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail.

  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities.

  • Experience with Accounts Receivable processes.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in the Healthcare sector or startup environment.

  • CPA certification or pursuit thereof is preferred.

  • Familiarity with ERP systems and advanced Excel functions.
