Context and Objectives
We are seeking a skilled Cloud Engineer to design and manage our IaaS OpenStack platforms, which serve as the foundation for all entities within Crédit Agricole. This role is pivotal in ensuring the coherence of technical designs (architecture, security, cross-functional requirements) and in facilitating the optimal integration of solutions within an OpenStack-based environment. The ideal candidate will have an experienced DevOps background and be classified as a Cloud Engineer N3/N4, responsible for both building (new designs, deploying new OpenStack infrastructures) and running (operational management of existing infrastructures, maintenance) these platforms.
Main Responsibilities
Operational Management and Maintenance: Administer and manage OpenStack platforms and associated storage systems. Oversee hardware management and data center urbanization, with a focus on capacity planning and obsolescence management.
Captain Run: Resolve N3/N4 incidents related to hardware, OpenStack, networking, and storage platforms. Identify and integrate security requirements. Apply management processes to production environments.
Analyze metrics and monitoring systems, capable of evolving monitoring solutions.
- Architecture and DevOps: Build the infrastructures of the future by staying informed about new open-source features and emerging technologies in infrastructure.
You build it, you run it: Embrace a DevOps culture to operate your own designs. Familiarity with CI/CD technologies and an 'Infrastructure as Code' approach is essential. Ensure consistency in deliverables and documentation.
