About the Role
Our Technical Customer Support team is a pivotal resource for our clients, revolutionizing the landscape of technical assistance. This dynamic department engages in direct support interactions, ensuring customers leave with a positive experience while providing crucial insights to our development teams.
We are seeking a dedicated Veeam Backup for Linux Engineer to join our team.
What You’ll Do
- Conduct troubleshooting and analysis, including log file investigations.
- Serve as a technical liaison to other IT professionals.
- Take ownership of customer issues from initiation to resolution, providing comprehensive troubleshooting across Veeam and third-party components, ensuring correct configurations, and educating clients throughout the process.
- Accurately document all customer interactions within SLA in our CRM tool.
What You’ll Bring
- Proficient in English (reading, writing, speaking).
- Strong system administration skills.
- Deep knowledge of TCP/IP protocols.
- Extensive experience with Linux-based operating systems, including package management and process monitoring.
- Proven experience in installing, configuring, and maintaining services on Linux systems.
- Familiarity with security concepts, including firewalls and access control measures (e.g., SELinux, AppArmor).
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Adept at quickly learning and articulating complex technical information.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate with customers.
