Role Overview:
The Senior Commercial Manager will oversee the commercial aspects of Hyperone's website and mobile application, managing a comprehensive commercial strategy that includes planning, category management, digital advertising, partnerships, and marketplace operations. Leading a dedicated team of 17 professionals, including 5 direct reports, you will drive online growth, optimize product performance, and enhance digital revenue streams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop a commercial strategy for Hyperone's digital business to foster growth and meet objectives set by the Steering Committee.
- Inspire and empower your commercial team to achieve compelling annual results.
- Collaborate with the Category team to increase product listings.
- Negotiate annual rebates and incentive programs with top vendors to enhance gross margins through contract arrangements.
- Engage with vendors on initiatives to promote their brands and products.
- Create a rate card for Hyperone App advertising features, including SMS, to facilitate vendor promotions.
- Devise a digital strategy to achieve traffic goals through various channels, including influencers, bloggers, affiliates, and media buying, ensuring effective return on ad spend (ROAS).
- Expand Hyperone's brand presence in various marketplaces and capture market share.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with corporations to fulfill their needs for office supplies and employee giveaways.
- Ensure alignment and collaboration across e-commerce functions to promote synergy and growth.
- Review monthly P&L statements to identify growth opportunities through new revenue streams or cost reductions.
- Report to the E-commerce Director with detailed monthly and quarterly business results compared to budgets, and develop mitigation plans as necessary.
