Our Electron rocket has emerged as the second most frequently launched U. S. rocket, successfully delivering over 230 satellites into orbit. Meanwhile, we are excited to develop Neutron, our upcoming medium-lift, reusable launch vehicle designed to facilitate larger constellation deployments. Our Space Systems division is at the forefront of designing and constructing our extensive range of satellites, payloads, and components, including those selected for NASA’s Moon and Mars missions and key components utilized in the James Webb Space Telescope.
SPACE SYSTEMS
At Rocket Lab, we are not merely launching rockets , we are shaping the future of space exploration. Our Space Systems team is responsible for building everything from complete spacecraft and precision payloads to the essential components and subsystems that enable them to function in the harsh environment of space. This includes solar panels, flight software, star trackers, optical systems, radios, and much more.
The Space Systems team has facilitated over 1,700 missions, contributing to endeavors such as interplanetary exploration, in-space manufacturing, and national security initiatives. Our work includes collaborations with esteemed partners like NASA, the Space Development Agency, and the U. S. Space Force. Whether creating sophisticated single spacecraft, constellations, or vertically integrated components, our talented Space Systems team is empowering some of the most ambitious space missions.
