The Human Resources Generalist plays a pivotal role in managing the daily operations of the Human Resources department. This role involves overseeing all HR functions throughout the employee life cycle with a higher degree of autonomy and efficiency compared to the HR Administrator. Depending on the location, the HR Generalist may also handle benefits administration and payroll activities. This position is crucial for ensuring compliance with local laws, as well as internal policies and procedures. The HR Generalist is expected to manage complex processes and engage in employee relations matters, while also proposing enhancements to internal procedures across multiple locations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Execute a variety of responsibilities, spanning from transactional tasks to supporting extensive projects across multiple countries and regions.
- Independently manage various employee life cycle processes, including onboarding, off-boarding, promotions, and leave management, ensuring timely submission of documentation to payroll.
- Coordinate relocation and transfer procedures, including visa applications and payroll transitions when necessary.
- Possess a robust understanding of company processes and policies to facilitate effective problem-solving.
- Provide high levels of autonomy in addressing queries from employees and management.
- Administer various benefit plans in line with local regulations and company protocols.
- Utilize compliance knowledge to mitigate potential liabilities and risks for the company.
- Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements across assigned countries regarding all aspects of HR operations.
