About Our Team:
The Health and Safety Advisor plays a crucial role in the effective implementation of HelloFresh's Health and Safety Management System (HSMS) across our distribution centres. This position involves offering expert advice and support to both managers and employees, fostering continuous improvements and initiatives aimed at maintaining a safe and healthy workplace throughout all UK operations.
Your Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular safety inspections and facilitate behavioral discussions with staff, maintaining an accurate behavioral safety log.
- Lead or contribute to incident investigations, determining corrective actions and updating the incident log accordingly.
- Perform monthly inspections across all business areas, generating reports and updating the CAPA log.
- Audit the HelloFresh HSMS, providing improvement recommendations to UK Operations.
- Design and deliver Health and Safety training sessions and toolbox talks tailored to identified risks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop procedures and establish safe systems of work.
- Champion a robust Health and Safety culture through staff engagement and various safety initiatives.
- Provide guidance to site management on safety systems, processes, investigations, and best practices.
Your Profile:
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Experience in a warehouse, food manufacturing, or logistics environment.
- At least 1 year of relevant Health and Safety experience.
- IOSH Certificate or equivalent qualification.
