As a Technical Delivery Manager (TDM), you will play a crucial role in two primary objectives: (1) ensuring our customers achieve impressive business results through technology initiatives and (2) fostering customer growth via expert technology guidance, trusted relationships, and evidence of success. TDMs oversee and deliver innovative solutions using the Appian platform, managing all facets of agile delivery for Appian-led projects, including risk management and removing obstacles. You will collaborate closely with frontline sales representatives to enhance growth in strategic accounts and integrated deals. Your responsibilities will encompass project management, account management, relationship building (with both clients and partners), financial oversight, opportunity assessment, problem identification, project/use case definition, demand generation, services positioning, and account strategy, all performed in partnership with Appian Sales and other Customer Success team members, including Customer Success Managers (CSMs).
This position is based at our headquarters in McLean, VA. Appian emphasizes a culture of in-person collaboration, which we believe is essential to our mission of excellence. Employees in this role are expected to work in the office 4 to 5 days a week to nurture this culture, foster teamwork, and maximize interactions with the talented individuals across Appian. While in-person engagements with clients are a high priority, we also value the office setting for its potential to celebrate achievements, collaborate effectively, and build robust relationships across teams.
