Innovitics is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Software Project Manager to spearhead the comprehensive software delivery process across various engineering teams.
This position is a leadership role focused on delivery, requiring a strong sense of ownership, diligent follow-up, and unwavering accountability to ensure that delivery milestones are achieved punctually and with the utmost quality.
The successful candidate will possess a robust technical background combined with outstanding project management capabilities and a data-driven approach.
Key Responsibilities
Delivery Ownership & Execution
- Oversee and facilitate end-to-end delivery across projects, from initial planning to final production release.
- Establish timelines, milestones, and release strategies.
- Guarantee that delivery commitments are fulfilled within the agreed timeframe, scope, and quality standards.
- Implement daily and weekly delivery rhythms to ensure disciplined execution.
Monitoring & Follow-Up
- Maintain complete visibility over all tasks, features, and bugs.
- Monitor progress regularly and proactively engage with teams.
- Recognize, manage, and escalate risks and obstacles promptly.
- Ensure accuracy in delivery tracking and compliance with established processes.
Performance & Metrics
- Monitor key delivery metrics such as velocity, predictability, cycle time, and defect leakage.
- Create and manage dashboards utilizing tools like Jira or Azure DevOps.
- Leverage data insights to foster continuous improvement.
- Communicate delivery status, risks, and performance metrics to leadership.
Team Management & Accountability
- Lead cross-functional teams (Backend, Frontend, Mobile, QA, DevOps).
- Establish clear goals, priorities, and ownership among teams.
- Conduct regular one-on-one meetings and address performance deficiencies.
- Promote a high-performance culture driven by accountability.
Risk Management & Problem Solving
- Identify risks and dependencies early, formulating mitigation strategies.
- Ensure readiness for releases and maintain production stability.
- Lead incident management and post-incident analysis processes.
- Coordinate across teams to assure seamless delivery.
