As a Part-Time Math Instructor, your responsibilities will include: Delivering an Engaging Curriculum: Utilize our specially designed curriculum aimed at advanced students to lead small math classes. Fostering Student Engagement: Encourage active participation and student-led learning in every session. Effective Classroom Management: Skillfully oversee up to 16 students. Assessing and Providing Feedback: Evaluate tests and assignments, offering constructive feedback to enhance learning. Building Meaningful Relationships: Connect with students and their families, making a significant impact on their educational journey. Inspiring a Love for Learning: Cultivate enthusiasm for mathematics and critical thinking skills. We are looking for candidates who possess: A Bachelor’s degree (strongly preferred in a STEM-related or educational field). Strong knowledge of mathematical concepts. Classroom teaching experience at the K-12 level (preferred, including tutoring experience). Note: A formal teaching credential is not required for this position. Schedule Details: Classes are held after school on weekdays (starting as early as 4 PM) and on weekends. A minimum commitment of approximately 3 hours per week is expected for each assigned class. Each course meets once a week for 1 hour and 45 minutes. Summer Schedule: We offer various two-week camps from June to August, with classes running Monday through Friday for 3 hours daily in both morning and afternoon sessions.
