What You Will Do
- Manage several active product development projects at once
- Delegate tasks to Product Development Specialists and monitor progress
- Collaborate with Engineering, Procurement, and Product Application teams
- Translate field feedback and test data into actionable product improvements
- Coordinate bill of materials (BOM) changes, component swaps, and supplier updates
- Oversee structured testing in both lab and real-world conditions
- Identify and remove bottlenecks to keep development moving
- Balance speed with thorough validation and quality checks
- Get hands-on when needed to troubleshoot, test, or push projects forward
- Develop systems and processes to improve development efficiency
Key Responsibilities
- Direct and organize all ongoing product development initiatives across multiple product lines
- Lead Product Development Specialists, ensuring accountability and follow-through
- Set clear priorities when projects and deadlines compete
- Promote cross-functional teamwork among Engineering, Procurement, and Field teams
- Manage validation, standardization, and rollout of product changes
- Create and apply structured testing and validation processes
- Turn real-world product performance insights into development strategy
- Handle BOM updates, component changes, and supply chain-driven adjustments
- Support both new product launches and ongoing product improvements
- Implement scalable systems for managing product changes
