About the job
As the Operational Technical Team Leader (H/F), you will oversee daily maintenance operations and manage the hotel's technical team. Reporting directly to the Assistant Technical Director, you will spearhead both preventive and corrective maintenance efforts, ensuring compliance with regulatory obligations and managing the operational activities of the team, service providers, and subcontractors.
Your role will also focus on upskilling the team and driving initiatives related to environmental sustainability and energy efficiency.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Team Management and Development
- Oversee and mentor technicians on a daily basis.
- Facilitate skill enhancement through the Tech360 program (technical and interpersonal skills), establish and formalize standard operating procedures (SOPs), and conduct quarterly and annual evaluations.
Planning and Organization
- Develop an 8-week staffing schedule and organize operational tasks biweekly.
- Coordinate daily activities for technicians and lead monthly service meetings.
- Participate in weekly operational meetings and conduct daily briefings with the hotel staff and team.
- Monitor maintenance and upkeep logs.
Budget Oversight and Coordination
- Assist in tracking the technical budget, manage inventory, and oversee small equipment orders.
- Follow up with service providers and coordinate on-site interventions.
- Act as the technical liaison among various departments (Housekeeping, Project Manager, IT, Central Security).
Maintenance Oversight and Compliance
- Ensure corrective maintenance tasks are carried out via HOPR and implement solutions for recurring issues.
- Monitor and execute preventive maintenance plans for rooms and HVAC systems.
- Maintain the health and safety logbook.
- Address any reservations issued by control offices and the fire safety commission.
