You will work hand-in-hand with cross-functional teams and clients to devise innovative solutions that ensure reliable, efficient, and scalable systems. Your expertise in distributed and scalable systems will be pivotal in meeting our performance and reliability objectives.Key Responsibilities:Take ownership of the Distributed Systems responsible for managing, provisioning, and configuring Northwood’s core infrastructure and network.Design and implement control and data planes that guarantee seamless integration across both on-premises and cloud environments, focusing on low latency and high throughput.Collaborate with customers to define secure and scalable interfaces for Telemetry, Tracking, and Control (TT&C) and payload data transfer, prioritizing simplicity and extensibility.Develop, test, deploy, and maintain critical applications for ground services, including APIs and services for spacecraft communication, as well as data processing pipelines capable of handling gigabytes of data per second.Contribute to the design and implementation of a robust monitoring solution to ensure continuous uptime of Northwood's hardware and software systems.Collaborate closely with software, network, and FPGA engineers to design Northwood's hybrid network and software deployments, optimizing for performance and scalability.
