POSITION SUMMARY:
The Connect Business Development Specialist plays a pivotal role in fostering strong customer relationships and driving business initiatives related to New Flyer’s connected vehicle technology. This dynamic position requires a blend of customer engagement, data analysis, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure our clients are effectively onboarded, supported, and positioned for enduring success.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:
- Build and nurture strong customer relationships to enhance satisfaction and facilitate long-term contract renewals.
- Support the onboarding process of new customers, ensuring the successful adoption of New Flyer Connect technology.
- Act as a critical liaison between customers and internal teams, including technical support, engineering, and sales.
- Track and manage customer accounts, project updates, and key metrics utilizing Excel and internal systems.
- Assist in crafting customer presentations, training materials, and case studies.
- Conduct product demonstrations and training sessions for customers and internal stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve customer issues and enhance service delivery.
- Contribute to business development initiatives involving pricing models and customer insights.
- Monitor industry trends and customer feedback to facilitate product and service improvements.
- Support marketing and promotional activities related to New Flyer Connect.
WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:
- 1-2 years of experience in a customer-facing role, such as customer service, account management, or client support.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with an emphasis on customer engagement.
- Proficiency in data analysis and management, particularly in Excel.
- Ability to work collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.
