About the Role
As our Fleet Quality Technician, you will play a crucial role in our robot operations, responsible for the assembly, maintenance, and deployment of delivery robots with precision. You will lead initiatives to diagnose and resolve hardware, electrical, and IoT-related issues, developing scalable and repeatable solutions. This position involves hands-on repairs, testing, and providing essential feedback to enhance future hardware iterations. What You'll Do
Act as the technical lead during robot deployments, swiftly identifying and resolving mechanical, electrical, and software integration challenges.
Take ownership of root-cause analysis and resolution processes for fleet quality issues that affect deployment success and uptime.
Design and implement scalable standard operating procedures (SOPs), tools, and diagnostics to minimize downtime and enhance serviceability for frontline teams.
Collaborate effectively with Engineering, Supply Chain, and Field Operations to ensure product issues are addressed promptly.
Provide structured feedback to Product and Engineering teams, assisting in piloting new hardware, software, or process changes in the field.
Create lightweight dashboards, diagnostic logs, and technical documentation for team-wide adoption.
About You
4–6+ years of experience in hardware operations, fleet maintenance, or field engineering, particularly with mechanical and electrical systems.
Extensive experience in troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and IoT-related issues.
Possess a strong systems-thinking mindset, focusing on solving root causes rather than just symptoms.
Self-motivated, independent, and solution-oriented, capable of identifying problems proactively.
Exceptional communication skills, adept at working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
