Key ResponsibilitiesCustomer & Field ExecutionEngage directly with customers during onboarding, pilot phases, and initial production, troubleshooting integration issues proactively. Validate real-world data, including location, HOS, assets, and trailers. Integration Implementation & DebuggingImplement and test data ingestion pipelines, mappings, transformations, and webhooks end-to-end. Identify edge cases and provider-specific quirks. Validate new integrations prior to and following launch. Product Feedback LoopIdentify recurring patterns and gaps from field observations. Influence roadmap decisions with insights derived from real-world production. Partner Coordination & DocumentationCollaborate with telematics providers on APIs, sandboxes, and troubleshooting. Enhance both internal and customer-facing documentation. Skills & QualificationsExceptional attention to detail and a strong sense of ownership. Experience working with structured data formats (JSON, SQL, CSV). Familiarity with APIs, webhooks, and technical documentation. Adept at reasoning through complex, real-world systems. Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

As a Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE), you will be at the vital intersection of customer engagement, product development, and engineering excellence. You will take ownership of the technical aspects of the sales process from start to finish, guiding customers through pilot planning and execution, ensuring their integrations function smoothly, and collaborating with our engineering team to prioritize quick adjustments and integrate customer feedback into our product strategy.

This role is not relegated to the back office; you will be actively embedded with customers, shaping the product in real-time and feeding valuable insights back into our platform. You will collaborate with our go-to-market team to ensure swift deal progression while delighting customers, and work alongside our CTO to influence our product roadmap and enhance data quality. When challenges arise, you will investigate and resolve issues while implementing preventative measures to avoid future disruptions.
