About the Role
As a Forward Deployed Software Engineer (FDSE), you will collaborate closely with clients to understand their most pressing challenges and design innovative solutions that leverage data. Clients turn to Palantir’s platforms for their vital operations, with projects often beginning with questions like “What causes our flight delays?” or “How can we enhance our detection of money laundering activities?” In this role, you will utilize your problem-solving acumen, creativity, and technical expertise to help organizations harness their data to effect meaningful change. You will gain invaluable insights and contribute to some of the most significant industries and institutions globally.
As an FDSE, your responsibilities will mirror those of a startup CTO: you will work within small teams with minimal oversight and take ownership of high-impact projects from inception to completion. Your day may involve discussing architecture with fellow engineers, managing large-scale data sets, developing custom web applications, engaging with customer executives, or strategizing for your team.
