S. technology company that develops digital experiences centered on real-world locations for both web and mobile platforms. Candidates must be based in Brazil or the LATAM region.
Role overview
This position focuses on building interactive, map-driven features that connect users with physical locations through digital interfaces. The work is hands-on and directly shapes user experience and product quality.
What you will do
- Develop and maintain responsive web applications using React.js and modern JavaScript (ES6+).
- Integrate and customize Google Maps APIs, including maps, markers, directions, and places, within React components.
- Create intuitive and high-performance UI features for location-based products.
- Work closely with designers, backend engineers, and product teams.
- Optimize applications for speed, scalability, and compatibility across browsers.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
Requirements
- 2–4 years of experience building production-ready frontend applications.
- Strong skills in JavaScript (ES6+), HTML, and CSS.
- Practical experience with React.js, including hooks and functional components.
- Background in integrating Google Maps APIs or similar mapping tools.
- Comfort with REST APIs and asynchronous JavaScript (fetch, async/await).
- Solid problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Fluent English communication.
Bonus points
- Experience with libraries such as @react-google-maps/api or other mapping libraries.
- Familiarity with TypeScript.
- Background working with modern UI frameworks like Tailwind or Material UI.
- Exposure to geospatial or location-based applications.
