As the Head Chef, you will play a pivotal role in managing the daily operations of our kitchen. You will be responsible for leading and executing all culinary processes while collaborating closely with the Executive Chef and Creative Chef to shape our culinary direction. Your strong leadership will help structure the kitchen, optimize processes, and elevate the team's performance. You will ensure a calm, organized, and high-quality environment in the kitchen every day.
Your Responsibilities:
- Lead the kitchen brigade daily, providing coaching and support to sous chefs and chef de partie.
- Start each day with a clear briefing, discussing planning, expectations, and key focus areas with the team.
- Coordinate the preparation for à la carte, banqueting, and live cooking sections.
- Maintain a rigorous schedule, ensuring efficient mise en place and optimal collaboration among all stations.
- Work with the Executive Chef to develop and innovate menus and recipes based on culinary trends, seasons, and guest preferences.
- Oversee the quality, presentation, and consistency of all dishes.
- Ensure compliance with HACCP, health, and safety regulations.
- Maintain a well-functioning kitchen organization and a clean work environment.
- Identify areas for improvement and optimize kitchen processes.
- Contribute to process optimization by establishing clear work structures and procedures.
- Serve as a key point of contact within the kitchen and liaise with other departments and management.
