About the Role

Cohere is in search of a proactive Human Resources Specialist who will play a vital role in supporting our global workforce and enhancing employee experiences.

In this position, you will serve as the cornerstone of our People Operations team, establishing efficient processes, nurturing a collaborative culture, and addressing complex challenges faced by our employees around the globe.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary point of contact for employees and contractors worldwide, providing empathetic, discreet, and actionable responses to inquiries.

  • Manage and enhance Cohere’s global employee benefits programs.

  • Facilitate Cohere’s onboarding process for new employees.

  • Ensure accurate and compliant employee data management across all systems (i.e., BambooHR), upholding integrity in payroll, reporting, and compliance workflows.

  • Create and implement engaging programs, from benefits refreshers to interactive 'lunch & learns.'

  • Act as the main contact for our Employer of Record (EOR) provider and collaborate with global legal and payroll teams to ensure compliance on immigration and cross-border employment issues.

  • Oversee Cohere’s global immigration program, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to comply with legal requirements and facilitate talent mobility.

What We’re Looking For

  • 3-5 years of experience in a global Human Resources/People Operations role within a fast-paced, rapidly growing global technology firm.
