Your Contributions
As a Lead Data Engineer, you will:
- Guide and mentor a team of data engineers, cultivating best practices in data development and teamwork.
- Design and manage the implementation of data architecture, including Data Warehousing (DWH) and Data Mart (DM) frameworks, data modeling, and schema optimization.
- Develop and sustain ETL/ELT pipelines utilizing Azure Data Factory and Azure Functions (Python).
- Establish and oversee data standards, governance, and quality assurance protocols across the team.
- Facilitate automation and continuous delivery through Azure DevOps (repositories, pipelines, CI/CD).
- Collaborate with Business Intelligence, Data Science, and Product teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality, business-ready data.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot data issues, and drive continuous enhancements in reliability and scalability.
- Engage in roadmap planning and propose architectural advancements that align with our business objectives.
- (Optional) Assist or oversee data visualization efforts using Tableau or other BI platforms.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Extensive knowledge of Data Warehouse (DWH) and Data Mart (DM) design principles, including dimensional modeling (star/snowflake schemas).
- Proficient in Azure Data Factory (ADF) and Azure Functions (Python) for data orchestration and transformation.
- Practical experience with Azure DevOps (version control, CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation).
- Strong command of SQL and performance optimization for large datasets.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and mentoring capabilities , adept at steering the technical direction of the team.
- Analytical mindset and a proven track record of driving solutions from concept to execution.
