We are in search of a skilled Lead Unity Developer to spearhead Unity development across all our studio projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Take full ownership of Unity development for all studio projects, including existing and future titles.
Work closely with cross-functional teams (Product, Game Design, Art, QA, Data) to ensure cohesive project execution.
Lead and manage the Unity development team effectively.
Establish and uphold technical processes and development standards for Unity.
Drive architectural decisions, and maintain and enhance project structure across the studio.
Mentor and support the development team: conduct code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and assist in resolving complex technical challenges.
Prioritize and plan tasks within the team to ensure timely project delivery.
Balance technical quality with iteration speed for optimal results.
Qualifications:
5+ years of professional experience in Unity development.
2+ years in a leadership role within a similar context.
Solid background in C#, with a strong grasp of architectural patterns and sustainable solution design.
Hands-on experience with performance optimization, asset pipeline management, and integrating SDKs and third-party services.
Proven ability to manage priorities and effectively plan tasks.
Exceptional communication skills: able to articulate goals, describe challenges, and propose solutions while considering team dynamics.
Demonstrated leadership capabilities: adept at establishing processes and giving honest, constructive feedback.
