Role Overview
The Learning Systems Manager serves as the primary expert for Decoded’s Learner Management System (LMS) and related learning platforms, including Credly and Data Camp. This role ensures the LMS supports a range of learning experiences, virtual, in-person, and blended, across both Commercial and Apprenticeship programs.
As part of the Learning Experience Design Team (LXD), the manager brings a strong sense of what makes a positive learner experience and understands effective digital UX. The position involves managing front-end LMS operations, monitoring technical performance, maintaining security, and handling integration with the Canvas LMS. The goal: a reliable, seamless experience for trainers and administrative staff alike.
This role plays a key part in upholding Decoded’s standards for learning excellence and data-driven decision making.
Main Responsibilities
- LMS Administration & Maintenance: Oversee daily administration, configuration, and technical support for the Canvas LMS and other core systems. Tasks include managing user accounts, roles, permissions, course creation, and system settings.
- Content Structure and Delivery: Build and maintain a clear, effective learning structure within the LMS. Upload and organize learning assets, such as eLearning modules, videos, podcasts, and quizzes, to support blended learning experiences.
