Role Overview
The Lighting Supervisor leads a team of artists on major projects, ensuring visual content meets quality standards and deadlines. This role serves as a key point of contact for local VFX/CG Supervisors, Production teams, and global Heads of Departments. Collaboration across locations and departments is central to success in this position.
What You Will Do
- Guide the lighting and look development team to deliver visuals that meet client expectations.
- Work closely with production and supervision teams to manage schedules and allocate resources effectively.
- Coordinate with global HODs to discuss technical updates and workflow improvements, helping advance the lighting department’s creative and technical capabilities.
- Maintain regular communication with leads and supervisors in other locations to track project progress and dependencies.
- Engage with other departments early to plan requirements and set up efficient workflows.
- Mentor lighting artists, supporting their growth and demonstrating strong leadership.
