Factor_, a brand under the HelloFresh umbrella, is on the lookout for a dedicated and enthusiastic Machine Operator to become a vital part of our operations team. In this pivotal role, you will play a key part in driving our production initiatives and achieving set goals as directed by the area supervisor. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that all machinery within your designated area is fully operational and adheres to our stringent plant standards, ultimately contributing to meeting production targets.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Maintaining equipment functionality to ensure consistent production flow.
- Implementing Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) initiatives and adhering to recommendations from management.
- Conducting visual inspections of the finished product to maintain quality standards and adjusting machine settings as necessary.
- Ensuring the production line runs smoothly while promptly communicating any operational issues to the supervisor.
- Setting up machines in accordance with the production schedule, ensuring all necessary equipment and materials are ready for use.
- Inspecting ingredients to confirm alignment with recipe requirements.
- Proactively managing the availability of scheduled materials and preparing preventive maintenance (PM) tasks to avoid production gaps.
- Executing basic light industrial maintenance and troubleshooting tasks, such as replacing wrap rolls and adjusting cup fills.
- Prioritizing safety in all equipment operations.

Minimum qualifications include:
- A High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- At least 1 year of experience operating light industrial machinery.
- A general understanding of maintenance principles.
