Role Overview: Mechanical Construction Manager (Embedded)
This position is based onsite in Kansas City, MO or North Kansas City, MO, working directly with a confidential industrial client. The Mechanical Construction Manager joins a larger construction management team and focuses on overseeing mechanical construction activities within the facility. The role is embedded on the client side and requires a strong background in mechanical systems and industrial construction management.
What You Will Do
- Coordinate and manage mechanical construction activities within the plant, reporting to senior construction leadership.
- Ensure contractors’ work on mechanical scopes meets project plans, schedules, and quality requirements.
- Oversee installation, maintenance, and repair of mechanical systems, collaborating with electrical and other discipline leads.
- Work with project stakeholders to align activities with project objectives, specifications, and safety standards.
- Support development and execution of construction schedules, particularly for plant shutdowns and product line downtimes.
- Track progress on assigned scopes, identify risks or issues, and escalate concerns as needed.
