Your Role
As a Mid-Market Account Executive, your primary responsibility will be to set our future clients up for enduring success while customizing each sales approach to meet their unique needs. You will engage in strategic conversations with executives, understand their objectives, and drive the sales process from prospecting to contract signing. Your efforts will not only contribute to Planhat's growth but also to the success of software companies across the USA and beyond.
- Adapt our sales strategy to address the distinct goals and challenges of each individual, even within the same organization.
- Engage in high-level discussions with C-suite executives, exploring product nuances and ensuring a smooth onboarding process.
- Build trust through active listening, understanding client definitions of success, overcoming objections, and steering the sales journey toward a signed contract.
Successful candidates typically have:
- 5+ years of proven experience in selling B2B SaaS products, often starting from BDR/SDR roles and advancing to AE positions in dynamic startup environments.
- A strong command over the sales cycle, from lead generation to closing deals, particularly with VP and C-level stakeholders.
- A track record of surpassing revenue targets in roles such as CSM, Account Manager, or AE within fast-paced software companies.
- A solid educational background, combined with a competitive spirit and commercial insight, essential traits for success in this role.
