Your Role
We are seeking a dedicated People Programs & Operations Manager to lead the initiatives and systems that enhance the employee experience throughout the entire lifecycle, from recruitment and onboarding to performance management, development, compensation, and compliance. This is a dynamic position in a rapidly growing startup where you will take full ownership of your responsibilities.
In this role, you'll be tasked with designing, implementing, and scaling vital People team programs that foster a unique company culture and facilitate successful scaling. You will collaborate closely with leadership while maintaining a high degree of autonomy. Key Responsibilities
- Manage people systems such as Rippling, Ashby, 15Five, Checkr, and Oyster, ensuring data integrity, automation, reporting, and integrations.
- Design and optimize processes, documenting end-to-end workflows and continuously enhancing them.
- Leverage automation and AI to develop scalable solutions.
- Oversee performance programs, including review cycles, calibration, leveling, and feedback mechanisms.
- Enhance onboarding and offboarding processes to ensure structured, compliant, and positive employee experiences.
- Manage compensation and benefits operations, including variable pay, benchmarking, pay equity, and open enrollment.
- Ensure compliance with multi-state and international regulations, including I-9 requirements, mandatory trainings, and audits.
Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in People Operations or HR Operations within a tech company, ideally one that is rapidly scaling.
- Experience in Series B–E startups, demonstrating your ability to build systems under pressure.
- Strong focus on operational excellence and innovative thinking.
- Proficient user of Rippling and other HR technologies.
