About the job
At SpaceX, we believe that a future where humanity explores the cosmos is vastly more thrilling than one where we remain Earth-bound. We are dedicated to developing innovative technologies to make this vision a reality, with the ultimate aim of establishing human presence on Mars.
POSITION: PHYSICAL DESIGN ENGINEER II (SILICON ENGINEERING)
Leveraging our extensive experience in rocket and spacecraft development, SpaceX is actively deploying Starlink, the world's most sophisticated broadband internet system. As the largest satellite constellation globally, Starlink provides fast, reliable internet access to millions. Our teams design, build, test, and operate every aspect of this system, from thousands of satellites to consumer receivers that ensure connectivity in minutes, and the software that integrates it all. We are just beginning to tap into Starlink's potential global impact and are seeking top-tier engineers to enhance its utility for communities and businesses worldwide.
We are looking for a passionate, proactive, and inquisitive engineer to collaborate with our elite cross-disciplinary teams (including systems, firmware, architecture, design, validation, product engineering, and ASIC implementation). In this role, you will be responsible for developing state-of-the-art next-generation ASICs for both space and terrestrial infrastructures. These chips are designed to provide connectivity in regions where it has been previously unavailable, unaffordable, or unreliable. Your contributions will significantly enhance the performance and capabilities of the Starlink network.
