Pre-Sales Manager

Reports to: Senior Vice President - Global Sales
About the Role:
The Pre-Sales Manager plays a pivotal role in aligning technical and commercial solutions throughout the sales cycle for digital lending and financial service platforms. This position serves as a crucial link between business, technology, risk, and operations to create scalable, feasible, and profitable deployment strategies for banks, telecom companies, microfinance institutions, wallets, and other financial entities.
As the Pre-Sales Manager, you will ensure that the proposed solutions not only meet client needs but also safeguard the company's financial health, manage risk exposure, and ensure the practicality of delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Support
- Facilitate discovery sessions with clients to understand business models, regulatory frameworks, and operational limits.
- Convert client needs into clear business and functional requirements.
- Assist in the preparation of RFPs, RFIs, and commercial proposals.
- Develop solution presentations, demos, and architectural diagrams.
- Offer technical and product insights during negotiations.
Commercial Structuring & Business Case Development
- Create financial models for lending initiatives (portfolio sizing, unit economics, profitability).
- Support pricing strategies and revenue-sharing negotiations.
- Evaluate partner contributions (funding, distribution, infrastructure, operations).
- Identify risks and assess operational cost impacts.
- Confirm the commercial viability of deals prior to execution.
Cross-Functional Coordination
- Act as a liaison between Sales, Product, Risk, Engineering, and Operations teams.
- Ensure solution feasibility aligns with product capabilities and roadmap.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders for proposal validation.
- Prepare handover documentation for implementation teams.
Product Positioning & Thought Leadership
- Articulate tailored value propositions for diverse markets (banks, telcos, fintechs).
- Educate clients on best practices in digital lending.
- Support go-to-market strategies and product positioning.
- Provide market feedback to product teams for continuous improvement.
